Publisher Tools by 📝Reddit are a suite of features introduced within 📝Reddit Pro, designed to support publishers in distributing and tracking their content across Reddit’s platform. These tools, housed in a new “Links” tab, include article insights that allow publishers to monitor which stories are being shared, along with metrics such as views, upvotes, and clicks.
Additional functions include 📝Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed synchronization for automatic article imports and AI-driven recommendations for suitable communities to engage with. According to Reddit, the tools were first tested in an alpha phase with publishers including The Atlantic, The Hill, NBC News, and the Associated Press, before being released in beta.
Reddit is also experimenting with an enhanced link viewing experience that enables users to read articles directly in the app while swiping to view and join related comment discussions. The company has emphasized that these initiatives are part of a broader effort to make Reddit a key platform for news distribution and conversation, complementing its role as a community-driven source of information.
