I can't stop thinking about this since reading this article for the first time a few weeks ago. The author is totally right. At least three times in my first four weeks of using Claude via CLI, I have thought about or started to integrate someone else's code before realizing that I could just build it myself and run it for a fraction of the cost. This is both exciting and terrifying because it empowers people who are under-resourced, and it also distracts people who are focused on the things that are generating them resources.As with most things, everything in moderation, including moderation. And everyone needs to be more conscious of their decisions, whether they're an entrepreneur building a company or someone utilizing an LLM to help them navigate relationship challenges.
