Montaia is an organization and community centered on regenerative community co-living and experiential retreats, with a focus on relational practices and ecological connection. Montaia Basecamp is a regenerative co-living space and the original community home for the Montaia organization, located in the Eastern Sierra Mountains between Bishop and Mammoth Lakes, California. It provides long-term housing with high-speed fiber optic internet, abundant mountain spring water, and co-working spaces for remote and local workers choosing a deep-nature, value-aligned community. Montaia also hosts community retreats, immersions, and residencies globally, often in collaboration with partner organizations, covering topics like relational somatics (such as Contact Improvisation) and social technologies (such as Authentic Relating and Circling). The organization is a co-creator of the Community Builders Collective, an educational platform providing tools and courses for individuals interested in creating their own place-based, practice-oriented, or socially-driven communities, which he co-launched with the Authentic Revolution organization.
