The Outrageous Infomercial was a @Meticulously Ridiculous video created by @Ali Spagnola and posted to her @Patreon as a means of garnering and expanding support from her patrons. [1] When Ali visited my @Conversation Studio in January of 2019, she told me it was "art that sells itself"—a notion that later inspired @My Reddit Art and, specifically, @Art Selling Itself (advert).

The informercial showcases her signature @Metamodernist; communicating a kind of sincerity through an insincere distancing. @Alan Watts, the modern day philosopher who called himself a 'Spiritual Entertainer', employed a similar voice in his teachings and encapsulated as much in his remark, "@I am not being serious, but I am being sincere." [2]
