NemoClaw is a stack that installs onto 📝OpenClaw in a single command, adding the privacy and security infrastructure that enterprises need before they can trust an autonomous agent with production data. It was announced by 📝Jensen Huang at GTC 2026 on March 16. It installs 📝NVIDIA Nemotron models and the OpenShell runtime in a single command, adding privacy and security controls to make self-evolving, autonomous agents more trustworthy, scalable, and accessible.
For scaling your own OpenClaw instance, NemoClaw is essentially a security hardening layer — OpenShell addresses the prompt injection and adversarial attack vectors you've already been building defenses for. Worth monitoring closely as it matures out of alpha.
The primary unlock is security architecture. OpenShell creates an isolated sandbox environment that enforces policy-based security, network restrictions, and privacy controls to prevent the oversharing, overshooting, or prompt injection attacks that have kept enterprises from adopting OpenClaw. NewsCord This is built in collaboration with CrowdStrike, Cisco, and Microsoft Security. On the model side, a privacy router connects agents to cloud-based frontier models, allowing agents to develop new skills within defined privacy and security guardrails. So you get local Nemotron inference plus access to frontier models (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) through a governed routing layer — no forced cloud dependency. The platform is hardware agnostic — it doesn't need to run on Nvidia's own GPUs. It's currently described as early-stage alpha.
Cost Structure
There are three layers to understand:
- Platform itself — Free NemoClaw's core is Apache 2.0 licensed and free to use.
- Cloud deployment (no local instance) This is the relevant path for your cohort member. You can deploy your own instance on NVIDIA's Brev console for $0.13/hr ($3.12/day), or try it free via OpenShell.
- Hardware (if going local) DGX Spark is available for $3,999, and the Dell Pro Max GB10 (purpose-built for NemoClaw agents) is $4,756.84 with 4TB of storage. These are the entry-level local options NVIDIA is pushing.
- Enterprise tier NVIDIA also offers a paid enterprise tier with managed infrastructure, compliance tooling, and support SLAs Nemoclaw — no published pricing yet.
