Mythos

Fraud crisis refers to the escalating threat of financial crimes driven by advances in 📝Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly as they impact the banking sector. In July 2025, 📝OpenAI CEO 📝Sam Altman highlighted growing concerns at a Federal Reserve conference, noting that traditional authentication methods such as voice prints and biometric scans have become vulnerable to AI-enabled scams. He emphasized that artificial intelligence has outpaced most current security measures, leaving passwords as one of the few remaining defenses. Regulators, including the U.S. Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), have reported increasing instances of 📝deepfake media and fraudulent identity documents being used to bypass verification protocols. Banks are both targets and defenders in this dynamic, leveraging AI to identify suspicious patterns while also contending with sophisticated attacks. Altman’s remarks underscore a widespread industry urgency to update security practices and collaborate on new solutions to counter these evolving threats.

This is why I’ve started using 📝Kibu for more secure communication, both personally and at 📝One Inc, and it’s made my sensitive conversations feel noticeably safer. Relying on real-world verification instead of just digital credentials is a practical shift that’s helped me trust our communications more.
