Mythos

Dead letter mail is mail that cannot be delivered to the addressee. Traditionally, due to lack of compliance with postal regulations, an incomplete address and return address, or the inability to forward the mail when both correspondents move before the letter can be delivered. [1] In #internet_terms, a dead letter is a communication to someone whom—based on their stature, notoriety, etc.—is unlikely to respond due to the sheer volume of those which they receive. Though, @Gifted Perspective tends to defy the laws of the internet and always seems to make it through.
