The Pop Star Series is a 📝Metamodernist concept in curation by 📝Ali Spagnola.

Pop Star is a series where 📝Ali Spagnola transforms a new featured guest each episode into a pop star. The first part of each episode features a behind-the-scenes documentation of the creation of a new music video piece. The two stars brainstorm a song concept, go on a related adventure to get inspired for the song, write/record the song and then film an accompanying music video. Through Ali's expert production help, something you'd expect to be mediocre ends up being an undeniable earworm that people can't help but share. The climax is the reveal of the brand new song/music video featuring the brand new pop star. The songs are catchy, pop tunes in various hit styles. They are often tongue-in-cheek and related to the guest star. Relatable comedic topics, pop culture and memes are themes often used as inspiration.

I'm turning everyone and anyone I can into a pop star. The world needs more icons. The world needs more catchy jams. I partner with other creators and friends to create a new song for each episode. We come up with a funny, relevant, clever song concept, go on adventure to get inspired and then write the tune. Then I use my production magic to get the perfect pop star performance out of them and manipulate it into the catchiest thing possible. We shoot a hilarious, Outrageous, meaningful, meaningless, fun, serious music video and release the masterpiece onto the world.
