Cafe Crew was a @Facebook group created in 2014 to more intentionally run into friends that frequently worked from cafes on the westside of @Los Angeles, CA. It grew to about 50 members, and when someone would post that they were working from a particular café, it would soon be bombarded with everyone from the group coming to work together. I created the group to more efficiently throw up a signal flare to all of the people who were asking me where I was working that day—rather than text each person individually as I had been up to that point.
