Mythos

RICE is a prioritization framework used in product management to evaluate and compare potential projects or features based on four criteria: Reach, Impact, Confidence, and Effort. Each factor is scored numerically and combined into a formula to generate a composite score that helps teams make more informed decisions about what to build next. Specifically, the RICE score is calculated as (Reach × Impact × Confidence) ÷ Effort, allowing teams to balance potential value against the resources required. This model is often applied in roadmapping software and product development contexts to create a rational, data-informed approach to prioritization. We use RICE scoring to rank and prioritize projects within @One Studio.
