Many of you are, which is why I was so excited when Ambit came my way. It's a startup helping to build the emotional intelligence of new managers. It listens to how much you talk and the amount of emotion in your voice to determine how much empathy you offer your team. Fortunately, they're offering an early beta version you can check out on their website. They also happen to be hiring, so let me know if you want an intro to them.
