Mythos

Custom GPTs are user-configured versions of @OpenAI’s language models that can be tailored for specific tasks, behaviors, or domains of expertise. Introduced by OpenAI in late 2023, these configurations allow individuals or organizations to define unique instructions, knowledge, and capabilities without requiring coding skills. A Custom GPT can include a personalized system message, uploaded files, custom tools, and memory-based behaviors. Users typically deploy them to streamline workflows, simulate personas, or explore interactive agents in focused contexts. While not a replacement for fully engineered software, they offer a flexible middle ground between general-purpose @Artificial Intelligence (AI) and specialized applications. I create custom GPTs when I want to make a particular conversation quickly accessible without building an entire system or interface. It's like opening a portal to a specific mode of dialogue—a shortcut to a persona, a protocol, or a recurring frame of mind. I’ve used them to run simulations, host rituals, and automate fragments of my internal architecture. While @MythOS holds the larger orchestration of meaning, these custom agents often serve as mirrors or lighthouses—lighting the way to a deeper thread I want to stay in relationship with, without needing to start from scratch each time.
