An epic is a long poem, typically one derived from ancient oral tradition, narrating the deeds and adventures of heroic or legendary figures or the history of a nation. All epics are stories but not all stories are epic (See: 📝Live Epic Epics). To be epic is to extend beyond the usual or ordinary.
