During my senior year in college, I joined one of the most active family offices in San Diego, CA, and it marked the start of my career as a professional investor. I sit on the investment committee of the firm as a senior associate, and the total asset under management of the firm during that time was just over $1B. Portfolios consisted of large-scale real estate, hospitality businesses, and technology startups. In technology startup investments, I understand the importance of leveraging data to both making investment decisions and effectively scaling potential startups. By using data, I know the concept of lean-startups and blitz-scaling, which enable me to optimize operations and marketing with analytical approaches. Also, with the analytic approach to building investments pipeline, I have mastered the game of venture investing.
His investments include DocuSign (Acquired), Postmates, Eaze, and many more. In real estate investments, I have a long record of successful commercial real estate acquisitions, lease obligations, asset reposition, and dispositions. My specific areas of expertise include strategic planning, space utilization, transaction management, and financial structuring. Currently, I am a co-founder of an investment and operating firm in the cannabis space, CBD Capital Group. I'm responsible for the day-to-day operations of both firm-level activities and portfolio companies. We are actively looking for the stars of direct-to-consumer cannabis brands to join our family as we are stronger together. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with families and friends. Besides that, I am also actively angel investing with my own money in technology startups and advising startups at any stage.
