Check If a Site Supports 2FA

• Search 2fa.directory for the site
• Click the blue book icon → follow the site's setup instructions
• When you reach a QR code or character string, switch to 🏷️#1Password to save it

Save the OTP Code

Browser Extension (easiest for QR codes)

1. Open and unlock the extension → select the Login item
1. Click ··· → Scan QR Code

• Text string only (no QR)? Use the Mac app or 1Password.com instead

1. Open and unlock 1Password → select the Login item → Edit
1. Add More → One-Time Password
1. Click the QR code icon to scan from screen or clipboard (or paste the text string)
1. Save

1. Sign in → select the Login item → Edit → Add More → One-Time Password
1. On the site, choose "enter code manually" to get a text string
1. Copy and paste the string into the OTP field → Save

Confirm the Setup

After saving, the site asks for a one-time password to verify. Copy the code from 1Password and paste it.
