The Laws of Human Nature by @Robert Greene offers tactics for success, self-improvement, and self-defense in work, in relationships, or in shaping the world. Greene teaches how to detach from emotions and master self-control, how to develop the empathy that leads to insight, how to look behind people's masks, and how to resist conformity to develop a singular sense of purpose. [1][2] Greene's detailed and expansive guide transforms the reader into a "calmer and more strategic observer" that is immune to "emotional drama" and grants the ability to "open your mind to what is really happening, as opposed to what you are feeling". Greene’s "thoughtful examination of self and society will, for the committed reader, deliver a refreshing and revitalizing perspective." [3] I'm #currently_reading this as an audiobook. The introduction, read by Greene, is illuminating and compelling. Hopefully the publisher won't mind me including it. Surely the enlightenment within this excerpt will compel you to purchase the book. ::embed[https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https://soundcloud.com/brianswichkow/the-laws-of-human-nature-introduction&show_artwork=true]{provider=soundcloud}
