From the 📝BuiltOnAir podcast, Season 6: Episode 4:
In this episode we’re joined by Brian Swichkow, a founding citizen at One Inc Cooperative. One Inc operates as a member-owned, member-controlled virtual economy dedicated to fostering a supportive ecosystem of creatives, entrepreneurs, and investors. Brian and his fellow citizens have helped bring dozens of unique projects to fruition, including a very nifty “spell-check for the soul”. But not all contributions are “monetary,” citizen’s can contribute five different types of capital to a project (there’s financial, but also intellectual, spiritual, cultural, and social capital) at any given time. If that sounds like it requires a lot of data, it’s because it does! With so many moving parts, it comes as no surprise that Brian’s two Airtable bases have a number of fields, views and tables to manage it all. But, the beauty of Brian’s approach is that it allows citizens to interact with clean, simple interfaces which only show what needs to be shown with the help of a few handy integrations.
