Alexander Lee is a reporter covering gaming and esports for Digiday. He has reported extensively on the professional Super Smash Bros. scene for ESPN Esports, and occasionally writes about goings-on within the League of Legends and Street Fighter communities. [4]

Before joining Digiday, Lee freelanced for the Washington Post, the New York Daily News, the Nation, and other national and regional outlets while working as an associate media editor at W. W. Norton & Company. He is affiliated with the Asian American Journalists Association and the Society of Professional Journalists as well as a volunteer editor for Democratic Left, the quarterly publication of the Democratic Socialists of America. Lee graduated cum laude from Harvard University, where he successfully petitioned the English Department to fund his senior thesis project, Harvard's first graphic novel senior thesis. In 2017, he moved to New York City. [4]
