Backtrack is an always recording menubar app for Mac. It's always recording, and over-writes a 60 minute window of audio over and over throughout the day, locally on your Mac. Backtrack lets you record conversations, calls, and brainstorming sessions where you forgot to click record.

As soon as something happens that you realize you should have recorded, just drag the icon down to the time you need to backtrack to, and the app will save an audio file to your desktop.

I'd wanted something like Backtrack for years and it came to me through 📝Product Hunt. It's been useful in capturing moments of inspiration and hilariousness, many of which are chronicled here in my 📝mythOS (old). It's also emboldened our desire to create 📝Bro Back for 📝Spiritual Bro.
