The domain—vroom with eight o's—was @Registered Under The Influence after two months of frustrated brainstorming for the project's perfect leading message. The idea to have an obnoxious number of o's was, @By and Large, catalyzed by @Scott Stratten's remark about his No Button project at "no plus fifteen o's .com" which he shared in his 2014 talk, @Alienate Customers.
