Varun Anand is the co-founder and head of operations at @Clay, where he leads business teams on a go-to-market development platform; the company serves more than 10,000 customers including @OpenAI, @Canva, @Google, and @Anthropic. He has also been a general partner at 89 Christopher since June 2024, a $2 million fund backed by Sequoia Capital and Bloomberg Beta. Previously, he built the employee benefits business at Newfront, led retail expansion at Candid, and worked on special projects at Jigsaw (Google). He earned a B.A. in political science with a certificate in Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania and speaks Spanish and Tamil. In 2025 he delivered a keynote at HubSpot’s INBOUND on “The Physics of GTM.”
