Hayden Wu is an #artist involved in many different mediums, including #video games, #illustration, and #comics. He is a co-founder of @Topia and @Citizen of One, and the Creative Director of @Topia. Wu's principal path into the game industry was with Rockstar Games. He worked on both the Grand Theft Auto and Red**Dead Redemption series. Being perpetually restless he would periodically ask to transfer to a different team, and with each reassignment learn completely new skill sets. These included working on terrain, sculpting, photogrammetry, photography, props, materials, procedural biomes, vegetation, set dressing, water, structures, and concept art. By the end of his time at Rockstar Games, Wu had become an experienced jack of all trades. After departing the AAA video game space, Wu shifted into freelance consulting work for independent projects. His efforts typically involved helping others with concept art and art direction, drawing from his experience creating complex large scale environments. Wu would also occasionally accept illustration commissions, as well as exploring the world of webcomics. His latest endeavor is the role of Creative Director of @Topia. Wu is not easily defined by his job titles, but better described as an individual. He constantly jumps between many varieties of creative arts and experiences. His personality is warm, expressive, positive, and largely influenced by how he feels in the moment.
