Layering
From 'Best Practices for Uploading Art'

- Group every .PSD by their layers in Topia; Front Layer(s) and Bottom Layer(s). Like this

Vocabulary
- 📝Front Layer — the part a Topi walks behind
- 📝Bottom Layer — the part a Topi walk atop (shadows, floor textures, stairs, etc.)
- 📝Object — the front and bottom layers after they've been merged together in-world
- 📝Asset Editor — the modal for moving and editing each object
Style
Topia's hand-drawn style was created by 📝Hayden Wu. You can see his style guide below.
- In 📝Procreate, you can use the default pencil brush on the smallest size with max opacity.
- In Photoshop, you can use the crayon brush (Legacy Brushes > Default Brushes > Crayon).
Tid Bits
- Export all files as .png with a transparent background unless instructed otherwise
Exporting
When exporting, please be sure that the Front Layer(s) and their matching Bottom Layer(s) are the same canvas size as they will be merged back together when uploaded to Topia.

For standard (single-layer) objects, please create the following files for delivery:
- [object-name]-drawing.psd (all design assets with layers grouped by Front and Bottom)
- [object-name]-front-layer.png (the object without Bottom layer elements like shadows)
- [object-name]-bottom-layer.png (shadows and other Bottom elements to be walked on)
- [object-name]-marketplace-image.png (both Front and Bottom layers, no background)
Delivery
- Please create a .zip with all files
- Upload the .zip to our Google Drive 👉 (link coming soon)
- Mark the object as 'Library' in the Bounty Board

Notes
- Lighting — Create a small gradient from the bottom up help sell the depth. Less light reaches the bottom of the bull so it would begin to recede into shadow
