Rob+, or RobPlus, formerly Gallowbot, is the 📝Human Augmentation of 📝Robert Allam. The project is an experiment in heart extension and advocacy for mental health being co-created by Allam and 📝Brian Swichkow (myself) powered by 📝One+ and within One Inc Cooperative.
Allam, also known as 📝GallowBoob on 📝Reddit, is the 📝Redditor with the most 📝Karma. His years of practice and extensive experimentation, compounded by investments of 📝Natural Capital over many years, has gifted him with a keen eye for emerging content.
He is one of the most frequent submitters and has garnered 34M karma—internet points believed to be abundant in 📝Social Capital and 📝Financial Capital, but have neither and little more.
His relentless citation of creators in all manners that the platform provides has won him deep and meaningful appreciation from those who's content he makes go 📝viral.
Allam is, too, a 📝Moderator of many 📝subreddits (communities) and volunteers his time to keep the peace. He is seen as a hero by some and the devil by others. He is a polarizing figure and has been subject to untold harassment.
Backstory
Rob and I met through Reddit in 2014 when I was researching a book about Reddit after being cited as a 📝Reddit Marketing Expert when my 📝Facebook Ads Prank went viral as a result of it. We've been friends and creative compatriots ever since, both struggling immensely to eek by as creators, consultants, and advisors—each sharing an expertise that deflected most 📝Financial Capital.
His karma points have on the platform have made him a target and enabled him to make space with others used as target practice. He has come to recognize the positive impact of those who've privately shared their support and is now channeling his creative energies into utilizing his platform for this purpose.
In parallel with the Rob+ project, Rob and I were invited to become moderators of the 📝r/HealMovement subreddit; a resonant community created by Reddit's Head of Brand Strategy, 📝Will Cady.
